One Fifty West, the upscale restaurant located off the lobby of The Jefferson Inn, was established in 2007, shortly after the historic restoration of the hotel was completed.  Operated by Chef Shawn Singer, a graduate of Johnson & Wales Culinary School in Charleston, South Carolina, it offers a traditional menu of steaks, seafood and pasta with a Charleston flair and a contemporary presentation.  Known for such Southern delights as shrimp and grits and a regionally renowned she crab soup, Chef Singer regularly presents such specials as jumbo bacon-wrapped scallops, chillean sea bass, or  grilled salmon topped with mango salsa and served on a hickory plank.  Almost any meal on our dining room menu is priced under twenty-five dollars.  One Fifty West opens seven days per week at 5:00pm.  Our Tavern Menu is offered in the Tavern and Courtyard, with features ranging from a thick Angus beef cheeseburger with steak fries, to coconut shrimp, to fried green tomatoes.  Most items on the Tavern Menu are under ten dollars.  Both menus are accompanied by our extensive wine list.
