The Jefferson Inn has been the most popular spot in Southern Pines for locals and visitors to gather and socialize for over a century.   Open from early Spring through late Fall, the outdoor Courtyard at The Jefferson continues to offer the perfect venue for relaxing with old friends and making new acquaintances.   

The Tavern, open year-round, provides a rustic environment reminiscent of the early 1900’s.  But despite its historic appeal, it is the setting for the area’s most active nightlife.  Offering live music several nights per week, The Jefferson Inn was this year’s recipient of the Locals’ Choice Award for the area’s “Best Live Entertainment” in the Pinehurst - Southern Pines area. 


Our Tavern Menu is available daily in the Courtyard and Tavern, and our friendly bartenders are always ready to prepare a beverage from our creative martini list, our extensive wine collection, or any other refreshing concoction you may choose to enhance the experience.  Whether in the Courtyard or Tavern, you can always count on a fun experience well into the night.
